Sharon Smith Director & Owner

Sharon has been a successful business woman for over 10 years who has always been keen on fitness, and the positive effects it has on so many aspects of our lives. In all of her business ventures Sharon's belief in the empowerment of women has lead her to build a successful business empire that has these principles at its core. It was a natural and logical step for Sharon to create G I Jane through her understanding of fitness and the focus and drive it gave her to reach her goals. Her primary focus for G I Jane was to inspire other women to reach their full potential and realise the power they have for themselves. G I Jane was born!

'When we held our first camp in April 2009 I had absolutely no idea how life changing this would be for me and the massive impact it would have on all the ladies who since then have attended our camps. I truly believe that what we do is special and that is why so many of our clients keep coming back to us. I feel extremely privileged to have met so many amazing women and to know that our team have helped them change their life's through the power of exercise and a healthy diet. It is amazing what we can achieve once we start believing in ourselves !

Amanda Aichen Nutritionist

Amanda says
'Most Of my working career has been based in London. The travelling and long hours were taking their toll, and with two children at home I just felt that my work life balance was all wrong . I decided to embark on a personal training course and things just snowballed from there really.
I have an Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Personal Training/Nutrition/Lifestyle Analysis & Active IQ Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise, Fitness & Gym Instruction. Which means I'm a fully qualified Nutritionist and personal trainer.
As I am also Fully CRB checked I have recently started up G I Juniors where I train children. I help children enjoy exercise and have fun.
When working with the ladies at GI Jane I understand what area of their bodies they particularly want to target, and understand how hard it is to shift those unwanted pounds. I assess each lady individually and discuss with them their existing eating habits and how best to implement changes that will make a difference. I also use my background as well as my extensive experience to help them achieve the best out of bootcamp, whilst understanding how the body works, and how much stress it can endure, which helps alleviate the potential for injuries and allows a unique experience.
